Exhibit Inspired by My Book Set to Open

They were rebels who changed the world, despite getting battered for years by wars and revolutions.  Taking on a seemingly impossible quest, their passion and vision prevailed, but their story, and their names, were gradually forgotten.  On April 7th, 2018, a new exhibit will resurrect their epic tale at the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Inspired by my book, Dreams of a Great Small Nation, the exhibit will enjoy an invitation-only premier the evening of Friday, April 6, attended by the ambassadors of the Czech and Slovak republics.  Guts & Glory: The War Train that Shaped a Nation will open to the public on Saturday, April 7.  I will speak on both dates, just two of six speaking events in the Midwest over four days (see "Appearances" elsewhere on this website).  The exhibit will run through December 31, 2018.

Here is brief, but terrific, YouTube preview of the exhibit:  https://youtu.be/fL-LXRlsbKE
